[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide managed IT services of planning and design, monitoring, troubleshooting and repair, maintenance, and support services to the government authority located in Loa Angeles, CA.
- These services will extend to computers, servers, network equipment, peripherals, related system software, cloud services, and professional services related to remote and on-site monitoring.
- Professional provider of comprehensive managed IT services to assist our IT department in the planning and design, monitoring, troubleshooting and repair, maintenance, and support of our environment. The functional areas and specific responsibilities that the vendor will assume are detailed in the “Functional Areas” subsection below. SCAG reserves the right during contract negotiations and throughout the term of the contract to select or opt-out of individual functional areas and responsibilities as our support needs and staffing evolves. Therefore, proposals should scope and price the service or support function within each functional area separately.
A. System Maintenance - Perform routine monthly maintenance of end user systems. Maintenance includes installation of operating system and application patches, updates, and upgrades that are made available through vendor websites or auto-update features. SCAG IT reserves the right to have patches, updates, or upgrades excluded or held indefinitely.
B. System Software Audits and Reporting – Perform software audits bi-annually to capture all software installed on all systems and provide a user-friendly report to SCAG IT for review.
C. Vulnerability Scanning, Remediation, and Reporting – Perform vulnerability scanning for all systems and remediate any issues identified. Scanning must be performed at least once a quarter. Provide quarterly reports summarizing vulnerabilities found and remedied.
D. Malware, virus, ransomware, and other infectious software remediation – Provide support for systems that have become infected. Support includes, containment, removal, reimaging, scanning of the system ad any other steps necessary to ensure a clean and safe system.
- Phone Setup – Manage the setup and decommissioning of soft and physical phones and associated numbers for end users.
- User, Contact, and Email Account Management – Manage the creation and deletion of email and Active Directory user accounts, mailboxes, and contacts.
- Server infrastructure incudes physical and virtual servers, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) equipment, storage area networks (SAN’s), uninterruptable power supplies (UPS’s), power strips, software applications, and supporting devices and software.
- Administer and Manage Ticketing Platform – Provide comprehensive Helpdesk administration and support utilizing SCAG’s ServiceNow ticketing system. Provide SCAG with a single point of entry, which will allow authorized SCAG representatives to initiate a service call, recorded with an incident number, and reported in a weekly, monthly or on-demand incident status report, online with notification by email.

(3) All question must be submitted no later than February 4, 2020.
