Vendor needs to provide book preservation and scanning services using scanning resolution at 300 DPI in TIFF or JPEG file format.
- All real books of record must be scanned for digitization, re-assembled, and rebound
- provide insurance for the real books of record along with contractor personnel while onsite, offsite, during transportation, during digitizing and during other physical procedures involving real books of record
- Images with black borders must have the border removed or inverted
- Any books with folio pages shall have the left and right pages stitched together into a single TIF image
- Images must be identified and split into documents per requirements for importing as documents
- retain a copy of the resulting digital files and deletions of said copies is contingent upon acceptance by the Recorder of Deeds.
