[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide document digitization services in PDF and OCR file format
- To pick up and to secure all boxes to be digitized and to have them shipped to the approved location for digitization services
- digitize up to 250 boxes of documents, each box contains approximately 2500 documents, many
of which documents are double-sided. The documents within these boxes are varying in size, i.e.    
3x5 note cards, 8x11, 11x14, tri-fold documents
- Included therein are 2 boxes containing a total of 2 cubit feet of microfiche. In total, there are  
approximately 1,000,000 images (4,000 images per box * 250 boxes)
- Contractor will create multipage searchable PDF digital files for each folder indexed/named by the member identification
- Automated Optical Character Reader (OCR) is acceptable; however, Contractor shall ensure   
 complete legibility of all PDF images; Clarity must be equal or higher quality enabling the viewer to  
 easily read the digitized record
- Provide all digitized PDF files created from the paper files on sequentially numbered and labeled 5TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drives
(2) Approximate work volume will be 1,000,000 images.
(3) This bid is set aside for Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5).
